I CAN will maintain a climate of high expectations within a safe and orderly environment. To meet the challenges of living in a changing world, the curriculum is designed to engage students in learning activities that emphasizes critical thinking through discovery, exploration and collaboration.

Our Philosophy

All children, regardless of their varying abilities and backgrounds, deserve to develop in an environment that encourages autonomy and personal responsibility. Children of differing abilities and ages can learn from each other while developing the virtues of care and compassion.

The role of the professionals at I CAN is to provide this nurturing environment of supportive guidance in which children can learn from their choices and develop to their fullest potential. The role of the family is of primary importance in influencing a child's development. We seek to protect and enhance this role through support and encouragement of family involvement in decision-making.

Our Goals

  • To develop knowledgeable and exemplary citizens in our community.

  • To provide a comprehensive, developmental curriculum, in order to foster the maximum potential for children two months to five years of age

  • To foster self-reliance, creativity, literacy, problem-solving skills, group skills, and a positive self-concept in each child.

  • To recognize each child’s individual needs and interests and provide opportunities for each child to develop in his or her own way and at his or her own rate.

  • To operate a state-of-the-art facility which provides for the health and safety of the children enrolled.

  • To create opportunities for family involvement and interaction, and provide programs of education in parenting coping skills and early intervention.

  • To integrate technology  within our developmental programs.
